Measuring about the size of a pack of cards, Casio's EV-550 lets you enjoy clear televised images wherever you go with its 2.5-inch active-matrix, thin-film-resistor LCD. The television--which receives VHF channels 2 to 13 and UHF channels 14 to 69--also features a speaker and an audio/video input so you can use it with a digital camera, camcorder, or other video device.

Its anti-glare screen is optimized for outdoor use (for additional perspective on a sporting event, say), and a monaural earphone jack affords private listening. The EV-550 comes with a built-in rod antenna and runs on either 3 AA batteries (not included) or an optional AC power adapter. Battery life averages three hours, and the unit weighs less than half a pound. Great things indeed come in small packages. That's proved once again by the Casio EV-550 2.5" handheld television. Its crystal clear reception includes both VHF and UHF, and it has a Thin-Film-Transistor Matrix (TFT). With an AC input and battery life that lasts up to three hours, the EV-550 comes complete with an earphone jack, a rod antenna and an external antenna jack. Fantastic entertainment now fits in the palm of your hand - thanks to Casio.
